GUI Leinster Veteran's Open Championship

 

 

Tullamore Golf Club is delighted to host the 2012 Golfing Union of Ireland Leinster Veterans' Open Championship on the 27th and 28th June 2012.   To be eligible to compete entrants must be aged 65 or over on the first day of the Championship. 

The competition consists of ons stroke round of 18 holes over the two days.  The winner shall be the Leinster Veterans' Amateur Champion for the year.

As well as the overall gross prizes there will be gross prizes for each of the 18 holes and there will also be net prizes.

Open for Membership

Tullamore Golf Club is open for playing membership in the following categories:

Full, Country, Overseas and Junior Members.   A limitied number of Full Memberships are being offered without the payment of an entrance fee. The offer is up to the end of April 2012 unless fully subscribed beforehand.   Further details can be obtained by contacting the office (morning only) at 057 9321439 or  email tullamoregolfclub@eircom.net

Membeship is also available for Pavilion and Social categories.

 

Open Monday

 

 

An Open Singles for Ladies and Men is held every Monday from April to October (with some exceptions like Bank Holiday week-ends where there is normally an Open anyway).

The On-line Timesheet opens for bookings two weeks in advance so to book online just click here and select the day that suits you. 

 

Tullamore Golf Club is situated at Brookfield, just south of Tullamore, Co Offaly and is a mature 18-hole championship golf course in a traditional parkland setting with impressive oak, beech and chestnut trees.  The course has been situated here since 1926.  The James Braid course was re-designed in the mid 1990's by course architect, Patrick Merrigan.  The result is a magnificent course which is enjoyed by members and visitors alike.
